Drum Screen Separator is primarily used to remove large-size light impurities in the waste paper stock preparation system. It ensures effective screening performance with advantages such as excellent screening efficiency, low power consumption, simple structure, and easy maintenance.
Structure and Working Principle
The Drum Screen Separator consists of a screen basket, machine bracket, gear motor drive device, belt drive device, riding wheel device, catch wheel device, and spray pipe system. Inside the screen basket, helical blades transfer impurities along the basket surface. The stock mixture enters the screen basket through the inlet pipe. Under the influence of gravity, fine stock passes through the screen basket and is discharged through the accepted pulp outlet, while the helical blades transport light impurities to the tail end of the screen basket and then discharged. The spray pipe system, installed on both sides of the screen basket, continuously cleans the stock to prevent clogging and maintain high screening efficiency.
