Roller Surface covered rubber, The purpose of the coating is not only to consider the corrosion resistance of the press roll but also to provide good elasticity to ease the pressing effect of the upper roller on the wet paper and felt, so as to prolong the service life of the felt and reduce the "embossing" of the wet paper. The elastic rubber-coated lower roller can also ensure good contact between the two rollers, even dehydration effect, and compensate for the error of the crown value of the lower roller.

Vacuum Suction Rubber Press Roll
Vacuum press roll is mostly used in medium and high-speed paper machines. The upper roller of the vacuum press is a stone roller, and the lower roller is a vacuum roller.

The roll shell is made of bronze or stainless steel, and the thickness of the shell is determined by the required stiffness and strength. Under the condition of speed and vacuum degree, remain unchanged, the thicker the roll shell is, the smaller the dewatering capacity is.

In high-speed papermaking, the moisture in the felt and wet paper is sucked out, passes through the eyelet on the roller, and then turns around the vacuum suction area before being thrown into the white water pan by the centrifugal force of the roller.

The vacuum roller with the thin shell made of high-strength metal is beneficial to improve the press dehydration efficiency.

Blind Hole Rubber Press Roll
The blind hole press roll is covered with rubber or polyurethane on the roller surface. Surface hardness around 70-90 shore.

A blind hole with a diameter of 2 mm and a depth of 12-15 mm was drilled on the rubber-coated surface.

It can also drill two rows of blind holes with different depths and depths.

The opening rate of the blind hole roller is about 25% - 30%, and its eyehole volume is about 5 times larger than that of the grooved roller, so it can accommodate more press water.

Surface rubber or polyurethane can reduce the wear of the felt, and provide a wider pressing area, which is beneficial to increase the linear pressure in the pressing zone.

Groove Rubber Press Roll
Compared with the ordinary press, the grooved press is easy to dehydrate, the linear pressure is lower and the thickness of the rubber layer is increased.

Therefore, the middle height of the roller can be reduced to avoid the high and uneven water content on both sides of the paper, resulting in the ribbed channel.

When pressing, the direction of the blanket and wet paper is also important. At the press outlet, the wet paper should be separated from the blanket as soon as possible, and the blanket should also be separated from the grooved roller as soon as possible, so as to avoid moisture returning to the blanket and the wet paper sheet.

During operation, it is necessary to keep the groove of the groove press clean to prevent blocking and pay attention to the drainage of water in the groove. Also, the grooved roller needs to be equipped with a soft doctor blade to remove the high-pressure water from the groove to the roll surface.
